The action “Water of Russia” in the Ryazan region united 1,100 volunteers

The Governor of the Ryazan region Pavel Malkov commented on the all-Russian action “Water of Russia”, organized within the framework of the national project “Environmental well-being”.

This year, more than 1,100 volunteers have joined the environmental initiative.

Together they cleaned more than 37 km of rivers, lakes and other reservoirs, collected 97 cubic meters of garbage.

“Thank you to schoolchildren, students, public organizations, collectives and all residents who did not stand aside. Thanks to you, the region is becoming cleaner!, said Pavel Malkov.

According to the governor, the largest Saturdays were held in the Mikhailovsky, Ryazan, Chuchkovsky districts and the Shilov district. Order was brought on the banks of the Oka, Pra, Verda, Vozha, Kiritsa, Aleshnya, Peta, Tsna, Ranova, Moksha and other rivers. Not left without attention and small ponds, rivers and springs.
