Aksyonov instructed to solve the problem of landfills in SNT “Picturesque”

The head of the Crimea Sergey Aksyonov instructed the Deputy Prime Minister of Crimea – Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan Irina Kiviko and Minister of Housing and Communal Services Alexei Kudinov to deal with the systematic non-removal of garbage in the horticultural non-profit partnership (SNT) “Picturesque”. The reason was complaints of residents about the mountains of waste at container sites, which accumulated, despite the assurances of officials about the solution of the issue. He wrote about this in his Telegram channel.

The situation is complicated by the fact that at the end of last year, responsible officials reported that meetings with residents were held in all SNT of Crimea and all organizational issues were resolved, including the removal of solid municipal waste (MSW). However, complaints against the head of the republic continue to be received.

“The impression is that municipal officials simply have no desire to help. I consider this as a negligent attitude to my duties, Aksyonov said.

It is necessary to gather the chairmen of the SNT, relevant departments and determine measures to eliminate the problem.

“I do not believe that this is an unsolvable task that arose because people do not pay for the export of MSW. Most of our citizens are responsible people, often pay even for what in fact is not fulfilled, the head of the Crimea said.

Earlier it was reported that in April 2026 Sergey Aksyonov instructed all heads of administrations to hold meetings with the chairmen of garden associations and cooperatives located on their territories until July 1.

A passport should be drawn up for each SNT: with data on contracts for the export of solid household waste, the presence of a sufficient number of container sites and garbage cans, as well as on connecting to gas and electricity networks, the availability of water supply and sanitation systems.

In May 2026, a working meeting was held in the administration of the Simferopol district with the chairmen of the horticultural associations of the Pictorial Massif of the Trudovsky rural settlement. During the meeting, the problematic issues of the array in terms of the arrangement of MSW collection sites, debt repayment, the conclusion of resource supply contracts and the transfer of water supply networks were considered.

At the same time, the Minister of Housing and Utilities held a separate meeting with the chairmen of the SNT district, where they discussed the need to conclude contracts for garbage removal and the arrangement of sites for the collection and accumulation of MSW.
