According to him, the actor spent the last three weeks in a hospital for veterans. He was very afraid to die in the hospital walls, so the day before he was taken home. The next day, the artist died on his bed.
“Everything he wanted, he was just good in this regard,” said the son.
The audience remembered Yuri Kayurov primarily as the performer of the role of Vladimir Lenin. He embodied this image in two theatrical productions and 16 films. Among the most famous paintings with his participation are “Lenin in Paris”, “State Border”, “Walking through Torment”, “Kremlin chimes” and “Sixth of July”.
