The chief doctor of “Alatyr district hospital” Yuri Bogolyubov met with students of the medical faculty of “Chuvash State University”, who are trained in target areas from the hospital

The chief doctor of the "Alatyr district hospital" Yuri Bogolyubov met with students of the medical faculty of the "Chuvash State University", who are trained in target areas from the hospital. The main topic of the conversation was further training and future employment of young specialists.
Now 22 people receive higher medical education in the targeted direction from the "Alatyr Central Research Center" at the Chuvash and Mordovian State Universities. Four more people are studying in residency. In 2026, two students entered the target direction.
During the meeting, Yuri Bogolyubov spoke about the personnel situation in the hospital and the areas in which specialists are especially needed. Some students plan to continue their residency studies.
“Targeted training is a real opportunity to address the shortage of staff in hospitals located in small towns and rural areas. We are always happy to welcome young employees and are ready to help them, said the chief doctor.
According to Yuri Bogolyubov, in 2026, two therapists and one pediatrician have already come to the Alatyr CRB. In the near future, a cardiologist is expected in the hospital.
One of the students said that during the practice, future doctors not only watched the work of colleagues, but immediately included in the work under the guidance of specialists.
Targeted training helps the hospital to prepare specialists in the most popular areas in advance. This work is carried out within the framework of the national project “Long and active life” and the project “Healthy future”.
