The Alatyr Integrated Center for Social Services of the Population (CCSON) was among the finalists of the Dobrocentres grant competition within the framework of the X All-Russian Forum of “Silver” Volunteers “Youth by Soul”.
The event was attended by 200 representatives from 67 regions of Russia. The business program of the forum covered mentoring, digitalization and accounting of the volunteer experience of older citizens, as well as the development of regional Dobro.Centers and social volunteering.
The experience of implementing local initiatives was presented by the volunteer of the Alatyr Center Irina Sidyakina. According to her, participation in the forum allowed to exchange practices with the coordinators of federal programs and identify key vectors for the development of silver volunteering in the country.
Support of active longevity and involvement of citizens of the older generation in public life are priority areas of work of the Alyatyr KTSSON.
