The Bank failed to challenge the decision of the Lipetsk FAS due to advertising SMS

The Arbitration Court of the Lipetsk region supported the regional FAS in a dispute with the Bank. The bank tried to challenge the decision of the antimonopoly service on improper advertising.

According to the joint press service of the judicial system of the Lipetsk region, the reason was an SMS with an offer of cashback in supermarkets, which was received by a resident of the region. He stated that he did not agree to the promotional mailings. The bank submitted a signed consent form for the processing of personal data, but the court considered that it does not confirm permission to receive advertising.

The court recognized the decision of FAS lawful and refused the bank. It can be appealed within a month.
