Belgorodets injured while trying to disassemble an explosive object

On October 5, an emergency occurred in one of the settlements of the Borisov district of the Belgorod region. According to the head of the municipal administration Vladimir Pereverzev, a local resident born in 1954 found a suspicious object and tried to disassemble it. The explosive device detonated, because of which the man received numerous shrapnel wounds and went to the hospital.

“This case is a serious reminder to all of us: an object found can be explosive and any act of its own with it is deadly. Please don't rely on "maybe," don't show self-confidence, and don't try to check what's inside. Take care of yourself and your loved ones, Vladimir Pereverzev said.

BARS-Belgorod neutralized 198 explosive objects in a month.
