Belarusians invited to take part in the video contest “My History with China”

The Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Belarus, with the support of the Ministry of Information, continues to accept applications for the short video contest “My Story with China”, the organizers told the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti news agency.

All Belarusian citizens are invited to participate, including those who work or study in China. Experience in creating content is not necessary.

Videos can be shot in both horizontal and vertical orientation, their timekeeping is from 1 to 5 minutes, the format and genre are not limited. Specifications: MP4 or other common video format, resolution not lower than 720p. The video does not allow watermarks, logos or commercial advertising.

Among the recommended topics are the history of learning Chinese, impressions of trips to China, acquaintance with Chinese culture and Chinese-Belarusian friendship.

The work should be published on the participant’s personal page on one or more platforms: X, Facebook, Telegram, TikTok, Instagram. Access to the page should not be limited to private settings, and the official accounts of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Information should be noted in the text of the publication.

Each participant has the right to submit no more than one work, which must be created specifically for this competition. The use of artificial intelligence-generated content is strictly prohibited. The language of work is Russian, Chinese or mixed, it is better to accompany the video with subtitles. Only individual authors are allowed to participate. For cheating likes, reposts or comments, plagiarism or the use of AI generation, the participant is automatically disqualified.

The winners will be awarded honorary diplomas and valuable gifts from the organizers.

To participate in the competition, it is necessary to send the completed registration form and the competitive work in the form of an attachment to a special e-mail address: shortvideo.contest@mail.ru before October 30. Evaluation of works will be held from 1 to 30 November, and the award ceremony of the winners will be held in December 2026.
