In Tajikistan, the practical part of the special exercises of rescue units of the CSTO member countries Scala-2026 has been completed. Representatives of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan took part in large-scale maneuvers, the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti agency reports with reference to the Emergencies Ministry.

The Belarusian delegation was headed by the head of the main department of emergency services and emergency response of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Andrey Metelsky. According to him, the main task of specialists was the exploration of destruction sites by the method of parachute-free landing. In addition, rescuers eliminated the consequences of the accident on railway transport: the destruction of the tank with “ammonia” and the presence of blocked victims in the passenger car.
- Practical development of joint response mechanisms will allow us to quickly and effectively counteract current threats and challenges in the field of protecting the population and territories from emergency situations, Metelsky said.
In total, more than 19 complex episodes were worked out as part of the exercises. The practical part of the maneuvers was preceded by the opening of the Republican Training and Methodological Center of the Committee for Emergency Situations and Civil Defense in Shakhrinav district with the participation of the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon. A unique training ground was put into operation, which became the main platform for the Rock-2026.
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Tajikistan Alexander Khudoleev took part in official events and observation of the maneuvers.
