Pregnancy without unnecessary worries and help after childbirth. What families in the Murmansk region can count on

In October, the region hosts the Decade of Pregnancy and Maternity, dedicated to the Day of Pregnancy. Meetings, lectures and consultations are organized in 17 municipal districts. Expectant parents can learn more about childbirth, breastfeeding, newborn care, paperwork and maternity leave.

One of the key issues is not only medical observation, but also psychological support for women. Within the framework of the project "In the North - the baby" expectant mothers are helped to understand difficult situations and get expert advice. If the family needs additional help, it can be sent to specialized support centers.

You can prepare for the birth of a child even before pregnancy. For couples who have registered marriage in the registry office of the Murmansk region, there is a “Certificate of newlyweds”. It allows you to undergo a free medical examination under the program and get expert advice.

The program has been expanded to include additional hormone tests, iron and ferritin tests, and infection tests. Women are available ultrasound of the pelvic organs and mammary glands, men - examination of the reproductive organs and spermogram.

Such studies help to assess the health of both partners, identify possible problems and, if necessary, start treatment in a timely manner. The certificate can be used by couples aged 18 to 49 who have married in the region. It is also possible to undergo an examination if one of the spouses is a soldier.

The project “Toddler in the North” brings together more than 25 types of assistance to families. Among them - a gift bag in the hospital, a gift to a newborn, compensation for travel to doctors and family spaces "Sopki". Family.

According to regional authorities, in the Murmansk region there are 26 measures to support families - from pregnancy to the adulthood of the child. At the birth of the first child, the total amount of state support can reach almost a million rubles. The total amount depends on what payments and benefits are due to the family.

Expectant parents should clarify in advance what support measures are available to them, what documents will be required and where to apply for payments and services.

The program "In the North - the baby" covers different stages of family life: from preparation for conception and observation during pregnancy to help after the appearance of the child. This allows families to receive medical, informational and social support not separately, but at different stages of parenthood.
