The Electoral Commission of the Stavropol Territory summed up the results of the second day of voting on the elections of deputies of the State Duma of the Russian Federation of the IX convocation and the Duma of the Stavropol Territory of the VIII convocation. Voter turnout for 20 hours was reported to be almost 55%.
The regional headquarters of public observation, which operates on the basis of the Stavropol State Agrarian University, noted that no serious incidents were detected during the day.
The voting process is monitored by more than 100 volunteers and specialized experts. They monitor the process in real time: a video wall broadcast live from 710 polling stations.
Security during voting days in the region provide about 14 thousand representatives of law enforcement agencies and emergency services.
Earlier it was reported that the youth of Stavropol took part in the All-Russian action “GEN of Russia”.
