More than 1,600 Kherson children attend additional education centers

More than 1.6 thousand children of the Kherson region are engaged in centers of additional education. Six such institutions were opened in Genichesk, Novotroitsk and Chaplinka thanks to the national project “Youth and Children”. Now they are visited by 1615 children, said the Governor of the region Vladimir Saldo.

The programs of the centers cover different areas: artistic and technical creativity, sports, tourism, local history, decorative and applied arts and military-patriotic classes. Each child can choose a circle or section of interest.

According to Saldo, the authorities plan to gradually open similar institutions in other settlements of the region to expand opportunities for additional education of children.
