In Moscow, a meeting of the government commission on flood relief was held under the chairmanship of the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia Alexander Kurenkov. We discussed the restoration of housing and infrastructure, as well as assistance to citizens.
More than 140,000 residents of Dagestan and Chechnya received financial assistance. More than 5 billion rubles were sent to the regions to compensate those whose housing was lost or damaged.
In Dagestan completed work on 34.5 km of roads. On the restoration of medical infrastructure reported the Prime Minister of the Republic Magomed Ramazanov. In Chechnya, they continue to eliminate damage at educational, health, road facilities and culture facilities, Deputy Prime Minister Rustam Shaptukayev said.
Kurenkov demanded to keep all issues under control and pay attention to each direction, so that the help came in time, and the recovery went without delay.
