More than 200 expectant mothers attended the festival of pregnancy in Astrakhan
Alexandro-Mariinskaya hospital hosted the annual autumn pregnancy festival “All about childbirth of the future: technology, care and love”. More than 200 expectant mothers became participants, the administration of the Governor of the Astrakhan region reported.
According to the press service and information of the administration of the Governor of the Astrakhan region, the speakers presented modern gadgets-assistants for pregnancy and childbirth, demonstrating them in action. For the guests, master classes for dads, swaddling contests, a physical minute, a photo session, a gender party and a gift draw were organized.
Deputy Chief Physician of the Perinatal Center Vera Skripkina noted that the goal of the festival is to make the path to motherhood conscious, safe and happy. According to her, this is a holiday where a new path begins and future mothers receive useful knowledge.
The center is equipped with 476 pieces of equipment within the framework of the national project "Family". Here incubators for newborns, resuscitation tables, heating devices, ventilators, ultrasound systems and heart monitors are used to control the heartbeat of the fetus. The new equipment allows you to care for children with a body weight of 500 grams.
