More than 400 Vologda residents received a fine for improper maintenance and walking of pets

In the Vologda region summed up the results of control of the treatment of pets for nine months of this year. There were 1220 complaints about violations of the maintenance and walking of pets.

Thus, 483 cases concerned damage to property and failure to ensure the safety of citizens and animals. Another 768 cases were uncontrolled dog walking or dog walking without a leash or muzzle.

499 administrative reports on violations were drawn up, 414 people were held responsible. Of these, 361 dog owners received fines from 500 rubles to 10 thousand rubles. Another 53 dog owners were warned for walking without a leash.

The total amount of fines amounted to 990 thousand rubles.
