More than 44 thousand receive state benefits: learned how in the Gomel region support families with children

In the Gomel region state benefits covered 44.6 thousand children. Such data was given by a representative of the Gomel regional executive committee, reports sb.by.

According to the telegram channel “Gomelshchyna officially”, within the framework of the Week of parental love about the support of families with children told the Chairman of the Committee on labor, employment and social protection of the regional Executive Committee Hope Tsupa.

According to her, of the total number of children covered by benefits, 22.5 thousand are under the age of 3 years. About 1 million rubles are planned for the payment of child benefits in 2026.

- More than 18 thousand large families for 37.9 thousand children received assistance for the new school year, Nadezhda Tsupa said.

2,036 women have been awarded the Order of the Mother in the Gomel region since 1996. Since 2015, 25,500 Family Capital deposits have been opened, 16,400 families have used them ahead of schedule (80 percent for housing). About 300 families receive childcare assistance.

A monthly and one-time social allowance is available for the purchase of food, medicines, clothing, shoes, school supplies and other needs.
