More than 52 thousand children rested in the camps of the Tambov region

In the summer health campaign of 2026, 52,954 children rested in the camps of the Tambov region: 32,994 in day camps, 18,400 in country camps, 1,500 in labor and recreation camps, 60 in a tent camp. This was reported in the regional office of Rospotrebnadzor.

All 492 camps were launched on time according to the schedule. All camps underwent sanitary and epidemiological examination, conclusions on compliance with the requirements were issued, but Tambov Artek works year-round and will receive a conclusion in December.

All 191 planned camps were inspected during the campaign. Orders were issued to eliminate violations and 21 protocols were drawn up, fines amounted to 411 thousand rubles.

280 samples of prepared dishes, 221 samples of the diet, 163 samples for the quality of heat treatment and 1910 flushes were studied - all meet the requirements. 68 food suppliers were checked: violations were detected in all, fines amounted to 1.073 million rubles, all violations were eliminated.

More than 560 hectares of the camps were subjected to acaricide treatment. Disadvantages were identified: barrier treatment of the territory was not carried out, uncut grass was found in a number of camps. As a result of the campaign, 198 orders were issued. Proposals based on the analysis of violations were sent to the interdepartmental commission under the government of the Tambov region.
