More than 60 thousand children recovered in the camps of the Brest region this summer

In the Brest region in the summer, 766 educational and recreational, sports and recreation camps worked, including 667 camps with a day stay, 99 with a round-the-clock stay. - In the Brest region in the summer, there were 23 stationary camps for seasonal functioning, in which 17,317 children were rehabilitated. Also at the bases of children's rehabilitation and health centers "Svitanak" and "Kolos" were organized camps with round-the-clock stay, which were visited by 1482 children. On the basis of the Republican Educational and Wellness Center for Patriotic Education of Children and Youth, 1210 children were rehabilitated in the camp with round-the-clock stay during the summer period. Almost all stationary camps worked in five shifts.

Special attention was paid to the rehabilitation of socially unprotected categories. Thus, in the summer period, 1,838 orphans, 920 disabled children, 1,727 children on preventive registration and in a socially dangerous position, and 12,357 children from large families were rehabilitated.

To reduce the cost of vouchers to camps for children of public sector workers, an additional payment to the full cost of vouchers for socially unprotected categories, to purchase vouchers for pupils of boarding schools, according to operational information, 874.2 thousand rubles of local budget funds were used.
