More than 600 kilometers ran the participants of the festival “KultaKarjala” in Petrozavodsk

On the fourth of October, the republican sports festival “KultaKarjala” was held on the basis of the Kurgan sports complex. The organizers emphasize that this trail cross, which originated in 2018, has become a good tradition for the residents of Karelia, bringing vivid impressions.

According to the minutes of the judges, the distance was successfully conquered by 139 athletes, a total of 612.8 kilometers. The program of the event was rich: adults competed on highways 4, 8 and 12 km, fans of Scandinavian walking went to the 4-kilometer route, and separate races were prepared for young athletes.

The atmosphere of the festival was imbued with the spirit of unity: there was no struggle for the championship, only the support of like-minded people. A positive attitude was created by volunteers and fans. The host of the festival “KultaKarjala” was made by Alexander Sukhov.
