More than 6.4 thousand violations of labor protection standards detected in Minsk organizations for nine months of 2026

In January-September 2026, mobile groups on labor protection under the Minsk City Executive Committee and administrations of the capital districts conducted 941 surveys of construction, industrial and other organizations (for the same period of 2025 - 853). This was reported to the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti agency in the Department of Labor Protection of the Committee on Labor, Employment and Social Protection of the Minsk City Executive Committee.
- Mobile groups conduct constant monitoring of compliance with the requirements of the legislation on labor protection in the organizations of the capital. In January-September of this year, during raids, more than 6.4 thousand violations of labor protection legislation were revealed (more than 7.7 thousand for the same period of 2025). Were surveyed 334 construction organizations (revealed 2 730 violations), 197 industrial enterprises (1 358) and 410 other business entities (2 397), — said the head of the Department of labor protection Committee on labor, employment and social protection of the Minsk City Executive Committee Natalia Nesterovich. The largest number of violations was revealed by mobile groups under the administrations of Zavodsk (1,281), Pervomaysky (790) and Leninsky (703) districts, as well as under the Minsk City Executive Committee (881). In order to effectively monitor the implementation of recommendations issued by mobile groups by the heads of organizations, 92 re-entries to the capital facilities were carried out (in January-September last year – 86). Specialists of the Occupational Safety and Health Department of the Committee and technical labor inspectors on an ongoing basis provide advisory and methodological assistance in organizing the work of mobile groups of administrations of Minsk districts.
For 2026, the capital has developed a set of measures to reduce the level of occupational injuries in organizations of Minsk.
- Three visiting meetings of the commission for the prevention of occupational injuries and occupational morbidity under the Minsk City Executive Committee were held (in January, May and July) and 26 meetings in the administrations of the districts of the capital (15 of them were visiting). During these events, the heads of organizations who committed accidents at work (including with the invitation of representatives of the customer and the general contractor) were heard. In addition, during the nine months of this year, 60 meetings were held by the commission to test knowledge on labor protection issues of the Minsk City Executive Committee (in January-September 2025 – 61). More than 8 thousand managers and specialists of the organizations of the capital successfully coped with the tasks (in 2025 - 7.5 thousand), which is 79.6% of the total number of applications received, N. Nesterovich said.
According to her, according to the results of completed special investigations of industrial accidents that occurred due to the fault of the employer, the committee and district administrations sent letters to the heads of organizations to undergo an extraordinary test of knowledge on labor protection in the commission of the Minsk City Executive Committee.
- For nine months of 2026, 78 managers passed an extraordinary test of knowledge. In connection with its repeated failure to pass to 259 heads of Minsk organizations sent letters with a proposal to remove specialists from work (for the same period of 2025 — 244), — said N. Nesterovich.
