As of October 1, more than 73 thousand electric vehicles were registered in our country. With the increase in the number of electric vehicles, the charging infrastructure is expanding. This is reported in the telegram channel of the Ministry of Energy, writes sb.by.

By the end of the year, the number of charging stations is planned to increase to almost 3 thousand. In five years, the number of charging complexes will increase to 16 thousand.
A new vector of development of electric transport will be the electrification of suburban routes of the capital. Thus, according to the decree of the Government, 21 charging stations are provided for the provision of electric transport of satellite cities: 11 in Smolevichy, 9 in Minsk, 1 in Pervomay, Dzerzhinsky district.
According to Deputy Energy Minister Konstantin Anoshenko, the development of electric transport is one of the promising directions for increasing electricity consumption in the country, taking into account the work of the Belarusian NPP.
“At the same time, private investors are actively connecting to the expansion of the charging network, creating charging complexes, including in residential areas,” the Ministry of Energy added.
