Soldiers of the “North” recorded a video message with gratitude to the staff of the Smolensk colony-settlement No. 7 for their support

Cooperation between the rear and the front in the Smolensk region bore the first fruits. In mid-September, the staff of the agricultural division of colony-settlement No. 7, which is the only one in the regional Federal Penitentiary Service, handed over to volunteers from the all-Russian movement "Victory Fairies" the first harvest - more than 150 kg of potatoes, beets and carrots.

The movement “Victory Fairies”, consisting of about 10 caring residents of the Krasninsky municipal district (most of whom are women), has existed for about two years. Their main task is the procurement of products, preservation and freeze-dried dishes for military personnel, as well as self-delivery of goods for a “ribbon”.

In early October, the fighters of the group “North” have already received parcels with processed vegetables. In response, the servicemen recorded video messages in which they cordially thanked the staff of colony-settlement No. 7 for their patriotism and support, assuring that they would return home with victory.
