Residents of the Bryansk region were reminded how to distinguish fake receipts for housing and communal services from real ones. Fraudsters can substitute payment documents to get money from citizens. First of all, you should check the account number and personal data. Errors in surname, name or patronymic, incorrect address and discrepancy in the area of the apartment may indicate a forgery. The account number is worth comparing with receipts from previous months.

It is also necessary to check the name of the management company or resource supplying organization. Forged documents may indicate unknown companies, individual entrepreneurs or individuals.

Additional attention should be paid to the QR code. Before payment, you need to check in the banking application who is indicated by the recipient of funds. If an unfamiliar organization or individual is displayed, you should not transfer money.

If the authenticity of the receipt is in doubt, it is recommended to contact the management or resource supplying organization directly and clarify the accruals.
