A criminal case against a 48-year-old previously unconvicted resident of Kopyl, who is accused of committing theft, was sent to the court, the Moscow district prosecutor’s office told the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti news agency.

The accused abuses alcoholic beverages, because of which she was sent to the LTP three times by the court decision. One day she came to Minsk and stayed in an apartment on the street. Me. On the balcony in a suitcase, she found two envelopes with dollars and began to gradually take banknotes from it. In just a few stages, the attacker stole $ 1,040, which belonged to her ex-wife. She spent money with her friends on alcohol and snacks.
Discovering the loss of savings, the Minsk citizen immediately realized that they were stolen by his ex-wife. He immediately returned $300, which he had not yet changed. Subsequently, the man appealed to the police, a criminal case was opened against the unclean citizen.
- The accused has a higher education, she works as a cleaner in a communal organization, previously she was not brought to criminal responsibility, said Peter Antonik, deputy prosecutor of the Moscow district. She was charged with secret theft of property (theft), that is, in committing a crime under Part 1 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code, the sanction of which is up to three years in prison. The citizen admitted guilt, repented of what she had done, fully compensated the damage caused to the victim.
A preventive measure was applied against the accused in the form of a subscription not to leave and proper behavior.
