Prices go up: how private clinics change the cost of services

Going to the doctor in a private clinic becomes more expensive. Medical networks have come up with new categories of specialists to raise the cost of admission. About it write “Vedomosti” with reference to the study of the insurance broker “Nobilis”.

In addition to the official categories of the Ministry of Health, clinics introduce their own: a leading specialist, an expert, a head of the department, a doctor with a scientific degree. Admission from such an “expert” is more expensive. Those who have a VHI policy also suffer - the availability of doctors for insurance is decreasing.

The largest networks – “Medsi”, “Mother and Child”, “Medskan”, “European Medical Center”, “SM-clinic” – refused to comment on the situation. They must have something to hide.
