According to the results of the study of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives, Chechnya, Tuva, Ingushetia and Altai became leaders in three birth rates. This is stated in the analytical report of ASI.
Its results are based on the data of the national quality of life rating for 2025, which the ASI annually compiles on behalf of the President of Russia.
Experts analyzed the number of births per thousand women aged 15 to 49 years, as well as fertility rates among women in the age groups 30-34 and 35-39 years.
On average, there are about 40 births per thousand women of fertile age. For women aged 30-34 years, this figure is 66.5, and in the group of 35-39 years - 38.4.
The average values of the leading regions exceed the average Russian indicators by 1.6-1.8 times. Tuva and Chechnya distinguished themselves in three ways. Ingushetia became the leader in the number of births per thousand women of fertile age and among women 35-39 years. The Republic of Altai was among the leaders in fertility among women aged 30-34 years.
