Chelyabinsk residents will be offered excursions to the trolleybus depot

In Chelyabinsk, five new excursion routes to local enterprises have been tested. Tourists plan to show how to produce cakes, collect cranes, develop games and service trolleybuses. The results were reported in the regional project office for industrial tourism.

New programs were prepared by participants of the fifth stream of the Open Industry educational project. Before the launch, the routes were evaluated by experts of the Center for Design Development of Territories and Tourism of the Chelyabinsk Region.

One of the sites was the confectionery factory "Fantel". The tour “The sweetest work” was developed here: visitors are going to show the whole process of making cakes, and an acquaintance with the production of tasting will end.

The IT company "Stendap Innovations" presented the program "Code, iron, team". Guests will be told how interactive children’s games and smart devices are created.

A completely different scale awaits visitors to the Chelyabinsk Mechanical Plant. The route "Giant Workshop" provides a visit to production shops and test site of automobile and tracked cranes.

In trolleybus depot No. 2, tourists will be introduced to the maintenance of modern transport and the work of a digital control room. Another site is the Chelyabtorgtechnika plant, where the production of equipment for catering enterprises will be shown.

All five companies confirmed their readiness to host excursion groups. As a result of the audit, the specialists gave the organizers recommendations on the further development of routes.

Information about new excursions should appear on the tourist portal of the Chelyabinsk region ChelTravel. The programs will also be included in the regional booklet on industrial tourism.
