Chernozemel district of Kalmykia celebrated its 75th anniversary

The village of Komsomolsky became the center of festive events on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Chernozemelsky district. The celebrations covered several locations at once, offering guests and residents a diverse program.

On the central site of the district center unfolded agricultural fair. Fans of active recreation were able to assess the skills of participants in competitions in national types of martial arts. The key event of the day was the races at the local racecourse, where the best riders and horses from all over the republic fought for the main prize of the anniversary – a car.

The festive atmosphere was supported by the artists of the Chernozemel Center of Culture and Leisure, who prepared a large concert for the audience. The day ended with folk festivals and dances in the park of culture and recreation.
