What to shoot traps in Zhlobinsky district: the most interesting shots
Hidden cameras in Zhlobinsky district (Zhlobinsky forest farm) caught not only rare animals, but also unexpected plots.

The forest is a special world, with its own rules, inhabitants and fragile harmony. He generously shares gifts and keeps many mysteries, but his innermost secrets reveal not to everyone. Thanks to the pictures from the photo traps installed on the territory of the Zhlobinsky forestry farm, you can see the veil over the life of forest residents, BelTA reports.
How camera traps reveal the secrets of the forest
Deputy head for ideological work of Zhlobinsky forestry Inna Dudoreva enthusiastically talks about the animals of local forests. Every photo of the trap is a chance to better understand wildlife and protect it.
Photo traps allow you to study the habits of animals, track their numbers and identify poachers. The forestry department notes that the cameras help not only to catch intruders, but also to monitor the population without disturbing the animals.
Footage from the forestry farm Zhlobinsky forestry confirms the richness of the local fauna.
The wolf is a forest nurse
Wolves periodically fall into the lens of camera traps. The wolf stands at the top of the food chain and performs a dual function. On the one hand, it regulates the number of ungulates, especially the sick and weakened, restrains the spread of diseases and maintains a balance in the ecosystem – that is, it acts as a forest nurse. On the other hand, the wolf can reduce the number of hunting game, attack pets and displace other predators if its population is too large.
Inna Dudoreva notes that the presence of a wolf is a sign of a healthy forest, but it is important to maintain a balance: monitor the number and, if necessary, regulate it.

Lynx in all its glory
One early morning in late April, a camera trap captured a male lynx in a forest clearing - a large handsome man was marking the territory. Usually during the day, the lynx rests in shelter: in a den, windbreak or in trees, since it leads a predominantly twilight and nocturnal lifestyle. However, sometimes she goes hunting during the day - if there is little food or in winter, when it is difficult to get food due to deep snow.
In the fall of 2025, the camera caught a truly unique shot: a lynx with a cub. Inna Dudoreva says that the mother lynx carefully led the baby along the forest trail, teaching him hunting and caution. The appearance of the lynx in front of the lens suggests that predators feel safe in this corner of the forest.

Noble deer return to the forest
A joyful event for forestry workers was a shot from the feeding platform, where a whole herd of noble deer gathered. The fact is that the Zhlobinsky forestry farm bought these animals for two years: they underwent an annual overexposure, adapted to new conditions and only then released into nature.

Family walk of raccoon dogs
In Zhlobinsky forest farm notice: people live near the forest, but rarely think about its inhabitants. Thanks to camera traps, you can look into their world. Once a hidden camera captured a rare scene – a raccoon dog with offspring. Externally, this predator looks like a raccoon, but in fact belongs to the canine family. Raccoon dogs lead a secretive lifestyle, and the appearance of cubs in front of the lens is a great success.

Elk on saltwaters
Local giants – moose – come individually, in pairs and even in companies to specially equipped salt marshes to replenish the reserve of minerals. Salt is especially necessary for animals: more than half of this element is used to form horns, so moose are constantly looking for it. Jaeger Zhlobinsky forestry farm, as necessary, replenish salt marshes.
The owl is a feathered star
The most vigilant night controller was the wild owl. Forestry workers noticed a pattern: no matter what time they set a camera trap on one of the sites, this predator always flies to the camera. She became a real media star.

The incredible friendship of a deer and a horse
The hunter of Shchedrinsky experienced forestry captured an amazing picture: a home horse and a wild deer peacefully grazed on the glade. Locals have long talked about this friendship - a handsome forest man regularly comes to the pasture to the horse from one of the agricultural enterprises.
During the shooting, it turned out that the horse behaves like a real bodyguard: he reacted aggressively and showed with all his appearance that he would not offend a forest comrade. This story proves that affection and loyalty do not know interspecific boundaries.
After a while, friends were again spotted in the pasture. Inna Dudoreva says that the horse, tired, calmly rested on the grass, and the deer faithfully stood next to him, not stepping away. If before the horse was a bodyguard, now he relaxed and entrusted the deer to monitor the situation. The wild forest dweller and the rural worker continue to show complete understanding.
Poachers and intruders in focus
Autonomous cameras quietly record violations around the clock and instantly transmit pictures to the remote.
Forest guards have repeatedly caught on camera illegal mining, particularly sand. In one case, violators destroyed the living ground cover of almost 30 square meters. The forest farm explains that this is the basis of forest life, and its destruction leads to erosion and soil degradation. For such violations, material compensation, a fine under Article 15.27 of the Administrative Code, and in some cases criminal liability are provided.
Photo traps also help detect illegal logging. The camera recorded the tractor on which the wood was taken out. The offender was a resident of Zhlobin, who harvested firewood for heating without permission. He cut down dry trees with a chainsaw and brought them home. The man sincerely repented and voluntarily compensated for the damage. Fines for illegal logging are serious: individuals - from 5 to 30 base values, IP - from 20 to 200, legal entities - from 50 to 300.
Each photo trap frame proves the effectiveness of modern technologies in forestry. Forestry workers care not only about the preservation and reproduction of the forest, but also about wild fauna.
