Nikiforovsky district court considered a criminal case of a fatal road accident.

According to the case materials, the incident occurred in the spring of 2026. A man who was driving a serviceable car crashed into a garbage truck standing in the right lane of associated traffic, which had emergency lights on. The passenger who was in the cabin died on the spot from his injuries.

During the proceedings, the driver fully admitted his guilt and expressed remorse.

The court found him guilty of violating traffic rules, which resulted in the death of a person by negligence. The punishment is 2.5 years of suspended imprisonment with the same probationary period. In addition, the convicted for 2 years deprived of the right to drive vehicles.
