Stops with grain growers, monuments to heroes, renovated streets and houses - Shklovshchyna is actively preparing for "Dazhynka"

Elegant facades, cozy squares and parks - the main characters of the holiday and its guests Shklovsky district will meet with a full parade. On the eve of the regional festival “Dazhynki”, which will be held on October 10, our correspondents talked with those who contributed to the preparation of the district center for a large-scale event.

- The facade was refreshed, the roof was repaired, the offices and the auditorium were put in order, sound and lighting equipment were purchased, the platform near the building was paved with fresh tiles, a new asphalt was laid in the parking lot, Oksana Kudenkova, head of the culture sector of the Shklovsky District Executive Committee, lists. Here during the holiday there will be a stage and an open-air auditorium capable of seating more than a thousand people. Dazhynki is a great occasion to say sincere thanks to all who feed us, daily work guarantees the food security of the country.

For the holiday, the creative team of DK is preparing thoroughly: rehearses dances and songs, helps builders at the final stage of repairs with cleaning.

- The highest indicator of the value of a person is what he does for his land, city, district, country. "Dazhynki" brings generations together. We really want to please the farmers, to show that we appreciate them. We hope that by our work – to bring joy to a person – we also inspire them, says a young specialist, head of the folk choir Alina Zaitseva.

- We all come from a village – there are our roots, says 20-year-old choreographer Alexander Shaburov. My grandmother Lyudmila until retirement worked as a milkmaid, processed the homestead, kept the farm. I admire all the villagers.

Alexandra Shaburov. Schools, kindergartens, district local history museum were dressed up for a large-scale holiday. At the new site near it, museum workers will install an installation telling about the history of Shklov. On Sovetskaya Street during the Dazhynak festive trade will unfold: the length of the rows, where you can buy various delicacies, craftsmen's products, will be two kilometers. Here, all regions of the region will present their achievements.

Thematic areas "Dazhynak" will be located in the city park, which is also noticeably fine for the celebration: the pond was cleaned, pavement tiles were laid on pedestrian paths, 30 benches were repaired, 20 new ones were installed - forged with wooden seats. The park has grown with a bright children's playground and sports grounds, a cable car town. Locals are delighted: the holiday will pass, and the comfort will remain.

- Plaster, paint, this is our contribution to the common loaf. “Dazhynki” for me is not just a large-scale event, but a family holiday. My father, who lives in the village of Blackhand, worked all his life as a mechanizer. My husband Sergey Vasilyevich is also busy in the agro-industrial complex - he works as an operator at an oil plant.

According to the acting director of UKP "Zhilkomkhoz" Alexander Podberezsky, the hotel they repair at the expense of the enterprise with the involvement of contractors - local PMK No 2:

- We refresh not only the facade, but also the rooms, and this is 31 standards and 6 luxury categories. We glued the wallpaper, partially replaced plumbing, furniture, laid the carpet, buy TVs. To make every guest feel comfortable here.

By the way, all rooms for the Dazhynak period are already booked. Preparation for the festival is always a large construction and improvement, changing the appearance of the district center. To assess the scale of the transformation, we go on a raid around the city with Mikhail Pavlovich, Deputy Chairman of the Shklovsky District Executive Committee. In the process, we note that the improvement touched every corner. Capital and ongoing repair of residential buildings in the city and agro-towns, social facilities. In the new asphalt dressed kilometers of roads in the district center and in the village.

One of the most serious objects is the district center of social services of the population, located in the building - an architectural monument. The restorers preserved the authentic walls and historical appearance, replaced outdated communications, including water supply and electricity systems, roof, installed wooden double-glazed windows, perfectly fit into the overall concept.

“Preparation for Dazhynka is at the expense of the district and regional budgets, the help of sponsors, local enterprises and organizations, donations from ordinary citizens,” says Mikhail Pavlovich. When you invest in a common cause, the city becomes even closer and closer.

For the holiday, new stop pavilions were installed in the district center, including with the help of agricultural enterprises. They, bright and thematic, depict rural workers, loafers, gills with milk, potatoes, tractor, stork over a wheat field. Memory in granite "Dazhynka" not only update the infrastructure, but also perpetuate the memory of people who made a great contribution to the development of the district.

In the agro-town Gorodets will install a bust of Nina Baranova. The name of the fieldman, the vealer, the pigsty, the Hero of Socialist Labor thundered throughout the Soviet Union. But Nina Mitrofanovna is also a mother-heroine who raised 10 children. Her daughters and grandchildren will come to the opening of the monument.

Large-scale work also affected places of military glory.

- On the Alley of Heroes in the new memorial of granite immortalized the names of 32 Heroes of the Soviet Union, who liberated our land during the Great Patriotic War, says Mikhail Pavlovich. Updated the stele on the left bank of the Dnieper, memorial tablets, the Order of the Patriotic War, installed a flagpole with the flag of Belarus. Replaced all the steps leading to the complex, and there are more than 160.

Young people are actively involved in preparing for the holiday.

- They dismantled old tiles, tamped sand, made formwork, say 18-year-old Mikhail Demyanov and Andrei Lameko from Shklovsky State College. - Now after school, we help with the decoration of the social service center.

- In the college, five student teams are involved in the Dazhynak facilities. This is a wonderful experience for us and an opportunity to contribute to the history of our native land.
