The case of the death of a pensioner in the Olenegorsk Central Bank took control of the IC of Russia

The head of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin requested a report on the criminal case on the death of a 69-year-old man in the Murmansk region. This was reported by the press service of the IC of Russia.

The daughter of a pensioner addressed Bastrykin through the information center. She disagrees with the circumstances of her father's death.

According to her, in February 2026, the man was hospitalized in the Olenegorsk Central District Hospital due to deteriorating health. Despite the severity of the condition, doctors chose the wrong treatment tactics. The next day, the patient died.

The investigation department in the Murmansk region is investigating a criminal case. Bastrykin instructed the acting head of the department Fyodor Blyudenov to report on the investigative actions and established circumstances.

Earlier, “MK in Murmansk” said that the Apatit-Kirovsk Central RB received a warning because of violations in the provision of medical care.
