The central event of the celebration of the Day of National Unity in Mogilev was the youth patriotic forum “Youth for the Future”. It is deeply symbolic that a large-scale action took place on Unity Square, a place that embodies the cohesion and indissoluble bond of generations of the Belarusian people.

The concert is organized exclusively for young people and the youth themselves. Young representatives of industry, agriculture, sports and culture took to the stage. Those who, through daily creative work, are already bringing real results to the economy and the social sphere, who are proving patriotism. The leitmotif and inspiring slogan of the forum were piercing words: “Adzinstvo motsya earth”.
Caroline Shatskaya is only 18 years old. The girl is studying in the second year of the specialty “Journalism” at Mogilev State University named after A. A. Kuleshov, but already actively covers the life of her native city. On his mission and calling he says:
- We, journalists and bloggers, cherish the memory of those who in 1939 fought for the unity and freedom of our land, and those who defended the world during the Great Patriotic War. At the same time, we are writing together the latest history of our country. We interview contemporaries – those who are creating the future right now, charging everyone around with youth, energy and cohesion. Our videos about the achievements of Belarusians are instantly shared on social networks. We really have something to tell and show the world. This is our time - and our future!
Solemn performances of the speakers harmoniously intertwined with bright creative numbers. The program of the forum has turned into a real symbiosis of sincere love for the Motherland and deep respect for the cultural heritage, which in its modern interpretation has given patriotic traditions a new, dynamic breath.
Mogilev citizen Artem Klimovtsov was impressed with the concert:
- National Unity Day is a very important and necessary holiday. I'm happy to be here and share it with other young people. The format of making a concert for young people is particularly close to me: it is for us to work in different industries and build the future of Belarus in the near future. We Belarusians are united by our love for our country and our desire to make it better. We are honest, kind, straightforward - without stone behind the bosom and without false emotions. And we also share a culture. Songs that sound today from the stage, dances that artists please the audience, the ability to first work well, and then have fun. But no matter how cool it was at the celebrations, it is equally important to come home on this holiday, gather for a family dinner with loved ones, call relatives and friends who are far away, ask how they are doing. And to feel with your heart this unity! We are one people and we must live in harmony. Mogilev residents about the celebration of the Day of National Unity
