The Deputy of the state Duma spoke about the categories of citizens entitled to early pension

Some categories of Russians can retire earlier than the established age. This was reported by State Duma Deputy Alexei Govyrin.

The right to early retirement is for people with long work experience, workers of harmful and heavy industries, residents of the North, teachers, doctors and mothers with many children.

Men with 42 years of experience and women with 37 years of experience can retire two years earlier, taking into account the lower age limit established by law.

Mothers with many children can also take advantage of the privilege: women with three children at 57 years old, with four at 56 years old, and with five or more children at 50 years old. This requires at least 15 years of insurance experience and it is necessary to raise children up to eight years.

Preferential conditions are provided for workers of harmful and heavy industries, residents of the Far North, teachers and doctors. Early pension is available to some citizens with disabilities and parents of disabled children.

In addition, pre-retirees dismissed due to the reduction or liquidation of the employer, the pension can be assigned two years earlier - if there is the necessary experience and if the employment service could not find them a new job.
