Deputies and residents of Solombala appreciated the transformation of the district

In the Solombal district of Arkhangelsk, the transformation of the urban environment continues. This was reported by the Arkhangelsk City Duma.

Deputies Sergey Sorokin and Arkady Porokhovnik, together with initiative residents, assessed the results of the work performed and discussed the plans. The first stop was the kindergarten “Smile”, where, thanks to the support of deputies, furniture in groups was updated. In the near future, the “Agro-room” with interactive equipment will open here, and a mini-museum of pupils’ achievements appeared in the sports hall. The territory of the kindergarten has also been transformed: the “Cosmodrome of Childhood” has become a place for walks and games, and within the framework of the contest “Blossom” the improvement of the garden garden continues.

Sergey Sorokin reported on the implementation of his amendments to the city budget. According to him, the kindergarten “Smile” and the music hall “Kolobka” received new furniture, the “Jolly guys” updated the windows and doors in the medical office, and the library named after B. V. Shergin is protected from drafts due to the replacement of window blocks.

- All the planned works have already been completed, and the institutions have received long-awaited updates, Sergey Sorokin said.

Further, the deputies visited the house on the Admiralty, 7, where, at the initiative of Arkady Porokhovnik, at the expense of additional funds from the city budget, they repaired the indoor passage in the amount of about 1 million rubles. Residents noted that walking around the yard has become more convenient and safer. The residents themselves carried out pit repairs on the other side of the yard, and with the support of the deputy, soil and seedlings were brought for flowerbeds.

Deputies also visited the embankment of George Sedov. This territory won in the all-Russian online voting for the selection of improvement objects for 2027, gaining 7,725 votes - more than any other object in the Arkhangelsk region. It is planned to lay lighting lines and new paths, build a parking and a sports ground, install benches and art objects. Modern stop pavilions also appeared in Solombal.

- Our large team of Solombal city and regional deputies, together with the residents of the district, does not plan to stop there. We will continue to actively continue the development of our native Solombala, Sergey Sorokin said.

- This practice of field meetings and joint control over the progress of work at the facilities will continue, added Arkady Porokhovnik.
