Deputies of the Legislative Assembly appreciated the tourist potential of the “Cranberry Festival” in Prytalovo

Deputies of the Legislative Assembly of the Pskov region Pavel Gomon and Nadezhda Vasilyeva visited the traditional “Cranberry Festival” in Prytalovo. The festival, aimed at preserving and popularizing local traditions, is held for the fifth time and annually attracts hundreds of guests.

Chairman of the Committee on Budget, Finance, Taxes and Economic Policy Pavel Gomon, who visited the event for the first time, noted its high energy and importance for the district.

“We often look for growth points in big investment projects, and that’s the right way to go.” But today’s festival clearly proves that local event events are also a serious tool for the development of tourism potential and the economy of municipalities, he said.

As part of the holiday, an exhibition and sale of products of local masters, a concert venue and master classes worked for the guests. Particularly popular was the tasting of various dishes and drinks with cranberries.
