The employee of the special unit “Squall” of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the Ulyanovsk region successfully passed the all-Russian qualification tests in Mordovia

The employee of the special unit “Squall” of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the Ulyanovsk region successfully passed the all-Russian qualification tests in Mordovia. Of the 83 applicants, only 14 people received the right to wear Krapovy beret.
The competition brought together representatives of special purpose departments of the Federal Penitentiary Service from different regions of Russia. Participants had to confirm their professional skills, physical endurance and readiness to operate in difficult conditions.
The selection took place in two stages. First, the fighters passed the standards for physical training, after which the most trained candidates were allowed to the main tests.
The final part included a ten-kilometer march-throw, overcoming an obstacle course and descent from the layout of a high-rise building using special equipment. Also, special forces performed acrobatic exercises, demonstrated the skills of shooting from a pistol and a machine gun and participated in hand-to-hand combat.
According to the regional FSIN, all the necessary tests were successfully passed by the representative of the Ulyanovsk “Squall”. Thus, he was among less than 17% of participants who managed to meet the qualification requirements.
Crap beret is a symbol of professional skills of employees of special units. Its receipt confirms the high level of training of the fighter and the ability to cope with serious physical exertion.
