Children’s cult center for 3.8 million will be created in the Novomoskovsk library on the national project

In Shirinsk rural library No29 Novomoskovsk will create a modern children's cultural and educational center. 3.8 million rubles will be allocated for the modernization of the institution under the national project “Family”, told “MK in Tula” in the administration of Novomoskovsk.

The library became one of the four winners from the Tula region in the federal competition of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation for 2027. The selection was held under the program of modernization of cultural institutions in the framework of the direction “Family values and cultural infrastructure”.

After updating, the library will have a space for family leisure. Children will be able to get acquainted with the basics of artificial intelligence and career guidance. The space will be equipped with modular furniture, which can be rebuilt for various events.

Incidentally, the contest was large-scale: 749 applications from 80 regions of Russia were received. Only 164 projects received support. In addition to the Shirinskaya Library, institutions in Efremov, Yasnagorsk and Cherni became winners from the Tula region.
