In Chuvashia at different stages of preparation and implementation are nine projects of integrated development of territories
In Chuvashia, nine integrated development projects (ICT) are at different stages of preparation and implementation. Their total area is 78 hectares, and the urban development potential is 556.35 thousand square meters of housing. At the moment, 27 thousand square meters of housing have already been put into operation.
To date, four projects are in the active stage of implementation - two in Cheboksary, one each in Novocheboksarsk and Kanash.
The CTB mechanism enables the transformation of unused and inefficiently used land into modern urban areas. It provides for the construction of housing and social, communal and transport infrastructure, as well as the resettlement of citizens from emergency homes.
According to Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Marat Khusnullin, since 2021, about 5.5 million square meters of real estate have been put into operation in the country according to KRT projects, of which more than 4.6 million square meters account for housing.
This tool allows us to update cities systematically – together with housing, create a modern social, communal and road infrastructure, get rid of chaotic point buildings and set a new standard of living. By 2030, integrated development projects should provide 10% of the total volume of housing commissioning in Russia, said Marat Khusnullin.
In Chuvashia, work on finding new sites for the KRT is carried out on an ongoing basis together with municipalities and developers. The list of projects is replenished annually with new territories. Their integrated development will create conditions for further housing construction and urban renewal.
Another important area of KRT is the resettlement of emergency housing. According to Vasily Kupyzin, Director General of the Territorial Development Fund, about 26.88 thousand people have improved their living conditions in 37 regions of Russia thanks to this mechanism. The total area of settled houses amounted to 465.66 thousand square meters.
