Dialogue of generations: in the capital's gymnasium No. 1 the party project "Teacher's word" was held

The party project “Teacher’s Word” was held in the gymnasium No. 1 named after F. Skaryna on October 6. Its purpose is to attract public attention to pedagogical activities. Representatives of local authorities were also present at the meeting, the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti agency reports.

The “Teacher’s Word” project is in its second year. The organizer is the Leninsky district branch of the Belarusian party “White Rus”.

This time, the topic of discussion was the personal and state importance of the teacher. Participants of the meeting were divided into groups: young specialists-teachers, parents, directors of kindergartens and schools, experts. Their role was played by the chairman of the Belarusian party “White Rus” Olga Chemodanova, the chairman of the Minsk City Council of Deputies Artem Tsuran, the deputy head of the Leninsky district administration Galina Chernik and other guests.

- The teacher is a state-forming profession, Tsuran stressed. A teacher is not just a teacher who delivers material to students. This is a teacher, a person whom children look up to. What a teacher will be for students, so in life they will become. How the teacher looks, how he represents the profession is very important. Therefore, despite the fact that Teachers’ Day has already passed, our party members, together with teachers and parents, continue to organize meetings dedicated to the role of the teacher in the life of the student and the country.

At the meeting, issues of organizing the educational process and the moral qualities of the teacher were discussed.

- Teacher's superpower is knowledge. In his efficiency, endurance, concern and dedication to the profession. The teacher should be a patriot, said O. Chemodanova. This profession will always be prestigious and demanded. They don’t become teachers, they are born. By the way, in our party of teachers the majority. It is planned to create a large forum of teachers.

School is not only an educational process, added A. Tsuran. This is education, including patriotic, as well as physical culture and rehabilitation.

Discussing the topic of interaction between teacher and student, they touched on the appearance of the teacher.

- The teacher knows more, he is more experienced, but it is important to be on the same wavelength with students, the representative of the younger generation of teachers said.

To this, the moderator of the meeting, the director of the gymnasium No. 1 named after F. Skaryna Natalia Bushna, noted that the teacher with a capital letter will never enter the class in a free form, even if he is allowed to do so.

At the end of the meeting, the heads of preschool and secondary school education institutions of the Leninsky district were presented with gratitude and honorary certificates for active social life, and F. Skorina Gymnasium No. 1 received a picture as a gift from the party.
