The All-Russian Day of Pregnant Women is celebrated twice a year: April 7 and October 7. On the occasion of the holiday in the Vologda city maternity hospital, an event was held, which was attended by more than 20 future mothers.
The women were told about all the upcoming stages - from admission to the hospital to the first days of the baby's life. Experts told how the birth, how to care for the baby, why it is important to visit the doctor.
A separate block was devoted to the support measures provided for in the region under the national project “Family” and the regional program “Family – the stronghold of the Russian North”. Representatives of the traffic police and the social service also addressed the participants. The meeting ended with a master class on swaddling the baby.
