Visas to travel to Novosibirsk will be abolished for Vietnamese citizens
From October 15, Vietnamese citizens will be able to come to Russia, including Novosibirsk, without a visa for up to 30 days.

The visa-free regime applies to tourist and guest trips, business visits, participation in scientific, cultural, economic, sports and social events. Transit through Russia is also allowed without a visa.
For work, including journalism, study and permanent residence in Russia, Vietnamese citizens will still need a visa.
For Novosibirsk, the direction remains relevant. In 2026, direct flights to the Vietnamese resort of Da Nang were carried out from Tolmachevo, and Vietnam was among the popular foreign destinations among residents of the region.
Earlier, MK in Novosibirsk reported that a direct route to the Vietnamese resort of Da Nang was opened from Novosibirsk.
