For first-graders of the Nenets school held meetings "Tundra bodywork"

In the library of secondary school No. 1 in the 2026-2027 academic year, the implementation of the project “Book Kingdom of the Arctic” continues. The initiator of the project at the beginning of 2026 was the head of the school library Olga Muzafarova, who appealed to the Ethnocultural Center of the NAO, on the basis of which the People's Literary Association "Zapolarye" works.

As part of the project, the children’s authors of Lito since February 2026 have been holding literary conversations with children, reading, discussing and writing together about the most important things for children: about love for their native land, about friendship and mutual assistance, about the benefits of reading and the joy of communicating with a book.

The first two meetings on the topic “Tundra bodywork” in this academic year were held on November 5 with new young readers of the school library – first-graders. The meetings were held by Natalia Chuprova and Irina Seliverstova, members of the Polar Region Lito and the Union of Children and Youth Writers.
