Owners of residential buildings need until October 31 to make a contribution on compulsory insurance for 2026, the press service of the Ministry of Finance reports.

Belgosstrakh sends them relevant information every year until May 1. It indicates the amount of the assessed contribution and the period of payment.
The legislation established that the insurance rate is 0.13 %, the insurance amount is 50% of the insurance value of the building. The contribution is calculated by multiplying the insurance tariff by the insurance amount as of January 1 of the current year.
You can pay the fee in cash or non-cash, including through ERIP. For violation of the payment deadline, penalties are charged - 0.3% of the unpaid amount for each day of delay.
“If the insured event occurs before the payment of the contribution, the amount of the accrued contribution will be withheld from the insurance indemnity, if late payment is also the amount of penalties,” the press service explained.
