On the results of a sociological study on the study of the socio-political views of Belarusians on the air of the program “Evening Political Channel”.

The results of a sociological study on the study of social and political views of Belarusians on the air of the Evening Political Channel program on Radio-Minsk were told by an analyst of the Belarusian Institute for Strategic Studies, doctor of political sciences associate professor Svetlana Aleynikova. Details - in the material of the correspondent of the agency "Minsk-Novosti".

S. Aleinikova explained that sociology, as a science, considers happiness:
- Happiness is a sense of self, a balance between fears and needs, satisfaction in life. From the combination and dependence of these indicators, a person has a feeling of happiness. It's hard to measure this subjective state, but we tried. One person can earn a little, but he will be happy with life, and another – 10 times more, but may be the most miserable person on earth. It is important to distinguish between this sense of self and statistics. They can diverge from different people. In general, sociology considers happiness the predominance in people of a sense of satisfaction with life, the state of affairs in the family over those fears and fears that they have. In Belarus, this satisfaction is high, our citizens are happy.
Speaking about happiness, the BISI analyst noted that today self-realization is important for Belarusian youth. Maslow’s pyramid of needs is no longer relevant in our society, because the state fully ensures the closure of basic needs. There is no risk of starvation.
- Our youth live at the top of this pyramid, so their basic needs are self-realization, recognition, respect, self-improvement. It is very important for young people to gain new knowledge and impressions. It focuses on internal development and comfort. The priorities of knowledge and self-realization.
Aleinikova also spoke about trust between people and state authorities, stressing that this corresponds to the historical code of Belarusians.
- Despite all modern means of communication, personal techniques lead by a large margin in the forms of interaction. Where a person can come, look in the eye, tell about his problem. Popular hotlines where you can talk to a real person on the phone, growing popularity of appeals through social networks and instant messengers. It is important to note that people do not so much choose the channel of communication as its effectiveness. If it works, they go there.
As an example, the doctor of political science cited the activities of the All-Belarusian People’s Assembly.
- Anyone who is even slightly immersed in the agenda knows that a huge amount of work has been done on the program of socio-economic development, including its revision according to the proposals of citizens. People see this, and trust in the All-Belarusian People’s Assembly is feedback. The National Assembly was able to combine its strategic functions and the interests of the people.
