The road around Cherkessk will be built until 2030

The project to build a road bypassing Cherkessk in Karachay-Cherkessia received a positive conclusion. It is planned to put the new route into operation until 2030. It will unload the roads of the republican capital and provide quick access to the resorts of Karachay-Cherkessia.

Alexander Lukashuk, Head of the Kavkaz Federal Highways Department, noted that the A-155 highway is the only transport artery connecting the Caucasian Mineral Waters and the eastern regions of the North Caucasus with the resorts of Dombay and Arkhyz. According to him, taking into account the projected multiple growth of tourist flow by 2030, the road will provide faster and more comfortable access to the ski resorts of the republic.

Earlier it was reported that the Eastern bypass of Grozny will include four transport interchanges and 15 artificial structures.
