Drivers conducted water drains on 16 roads in nine districts of the Novgorod region

Since the beginning of October, road services have provided water drainage on eighteen sections of regional roads. Over the past week, contractors carried out the necessary work at once in nine municipal districts of the region, the press service of the Novgorod Region Road Administration Novgorodavtodor reported.

As part of the maintenance of the road network, specialists examined problem areas, cleaned water passage pipes and their beds, eliminated erosion and restored the profile of drainage ditches. They also put in order entrances to settlements.

The geography of the work was extensive. In the Batetsk district, road workers were engaged in the “Batetsky – Voronilo” highways (in the area of the village of Raja), “Velikiy Novgorod – Luga” and Soviet Street in the village itself. In the Malovishersky district, the Verbie - Golysheno section was put in order, and in Novgorod - the roads Novaya Mill - Leshino and Veliky Novgorod - Nekhino.

At the entrances to settlements, work was carried out in the Poddor and Chudovsky districts, where specialists served the roads to the villages of Pereezd and Shchetino. In the Valdai district, attention was paid to four areas: “Yazhelbitsy – Palace”, “Dobylovo – Krasilovo – Markovo”, “Valdai – Demyansk” and “Little Gorodno – Savkino”.

In the Borovichi district road workers worked on the highway "Borovici - M-11 "Neva", in Starorussky - on the route "Pinaev Gorki - Drozdino - Budomitsa". The weekly plan was completed by specialists in the Lyubytinsky district, where they provided water drainage at the Ustje - Babchitsa - Smolino and Kamenka - Nikandrovo sections.
