Road UK in Murmansk offered to monitor slippery tracks on the “Kola”

The Murmansk Road Administration received a warning from the Pechenga Interior Ministry department. This follows from the information on the website of the Prosecutor General.

Experts have studied weather data on the website of the Murmansk UGMS and found that from 9 to 11 October 2026 in the Murmansk region is expected wet snow and temperature changes from -4 to +5 degrees. Because of this, roads can be slippery, asphalt can cover glassy ice. Then this will violate the requirements of GOST, according to which there can be no snow and winter slipperiness after cleaning on the roads.

The management company was offered to take measures in case of worsening weather in the Pechenga district to prevent the formation of slipperiness on the federal road Kola and regional highways. If ice does appear, the company must ensure that it is removed within the deadlines set by GOST.

Earlier, “MK in Murmansk” said that Kandalaksha on the “Kola” driver flew into a semi-trailer Volvo and was in the hospital.
