Two Krasnoyarsk residents received a “strict” for stealing tools from the construction of houses in Abakan

Residents of Krasnoyarsk were sentenced to imprisonment in a strict regime colony. The men were stealing from apartment buildings in Abakan.

From June 2023 to July 2026, Krasnoyarsk residents of 33 and 38 years old came to the capital of Khakassia on a truck that belonged to the wife of one of them. By car, stolen from construction sites (from unfinished houses, trailers and containers) tools, materials and other property were taken out.

“Among the abductees were grinding machines, punches, screwdrivers, electric cable and other equipment. The victims in the case are the construction organizations of Abakan and their employees. The total damage exceeded 990 thousand rubles, the regional interior Ministry said.

The thieves were arrested by Khakass police. During the investigation, it turned out that Krasnoyarsk people traded in the same way in their native land and in the Kemerovo region and were convicted for this.

The court found the men guilty of what they did and sent both to a maximum security colony. One for 6.5 years, the second for 7 years and 8 months. They will also have to pay construction companies and employees material damage.
