Two residents of Ussuriysk, aged 47 and 56, will appear in court in the case of organizing the illegal stay of foreigners in Russia. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Primorsky Territory.
According to the investigation, the illegal scheme operated from February to October 2025. The figures organized fictitious registration of foreigners, providing them with formal grounds for staying in the country.
For this purpose, a commercial organization was used, the head of which was one of the accused. Using her official position, she prepared documents as a host for remuneration.
After the fictitious registration, aliens were returned the detachable parts of the notifications. They contained deliberately false information, which allowed migrants to stay in Russia legally.
During the operation of the scheme, illegal entry into Russia was organized for more than 300 foreign citizens.
During the investigation, both defendants were under house arrest with a ban on certain actions.
The criminal case with the approved indictment was sent to the court. In case of conviction, women can face from 5 to 10 years in prison, a fine of up to 1 million rubles, as well as a ban on holding certain positions or engaging in certain activities for up to 7 years.
